Midbay Veterinary Hospital is now open in the Pineapple Plaza, 4652 East Highway 20, across from Stubbs Orthodontics in Niceville.
The new pet hospital opened Monday, August 17. It is owned and operated by Dr. Maya Chapman, who has lived in Niceville since 2005. Dr. Chapman was born in Texas and grew up in Hunstville, Ala. She has earned three degrees from Auburn University: BS in Animal Science, 1999; MS in Equine Nutrition and Biochemistry, 2001; and DVM from College of Veterinary Medicine, 2005.
Dr. Chapman practiced in Crestview for nine years prior to opening Midbay Veterinary Hospital. She has also practiced at the local veterinary emergency clinic.
