Mid-Bay Bridge Connector road to open Jan. 4, 2014

The Mid-Bay Bridge Connector road in Niceville opens for motorists on January 4. The limited access highway connects the north end of the Mid-Bay Bridge with State Road 85 North, immediately north of Niceville (just north of the Mullet Festival site).

All electronic open road-tolling will be implemented on the Connector which allows customers to pay tolls without slowing down or stopping. Tolls will be paid through either SunPass transponders or a new Toll-By-Plate program being introduced by Florida’s turnpike Enterprise.
