McDonald’s serving breakfast to student-athletes at prayer breakfast

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Costa Enterprises McDonald’s will provide breakfast on February 25 to over 900 local student-athletes and coaches at the All Sports Association (ASA) Buck Smith Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Prayer Breakfast.

“We are honored to serve and show our appreciation to these local athletes and schools year after year,” said David Costa Sr., president of Costa Enterprises McDonald’s.

“Each of these students works hard year-round to not only excel in their individual sports but to live each day and approach every game, match or competition with their faith at the forefront.”

This is the fifth year Costa Enterprises McDonald’s has sponsored the Annual FCA Breakfast and served as a Platinum Sponsor for the All-Sports Association’s Annual Awards Banquet.

The event is hosted at Northwest Florida State College’s Raider Arena in Niceville.

Student-athletes from Okaloosa and Walton County high schools and middle schools will be in attendance for breakfast and Christian fellowship beginning at 7:15 a.m. Costa Enterprises McDonald’s will serve all attendees their classic breakfast offerings.

The breakfast is made possible through their Costa Cares program, the fundraising and outreach initiative of the company that gifts thousands of dollars to local charities each year.

The All Sports Association’s Annual FCA Breakfast was first held in 1985. For 37 years, the All-Sports Association has gathered local athletes for a breakfast to celebrate the unification of two passions, faith, and athletics.
