Love + Grow Clothing Co opens in Santa Rosa Beach

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. – Love + Grow Clothing Co will celebrate the grand opening of its first showroom, located at 457 Serenoa Road, Unit 10 in Santa Rosa Beach, on Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. with a portion of sales made benefitting Children in Crisis.

Love + Grow was created in 2017 by Lindsey Smith after she had her first child, a baby girl named Evelyn. As a new mom, Smith looked for a career where she could utilize her passion for design and creativity while staying at home to take care of her new baby.

“My children inspire me every day,” Smith said.

“Depending on their interests and their moods, I have always designed the collections with them in mind. After all, they are the reason I started Love + Grow.”

Smith had a vision to build an empowering and encouraging company that would help other moms by designing stylish clothes for both them and their daughters.

From this dream, Love + Grow was born and sold primarily online, featuring weekly drops of new arrivals designed with colorful patterns, ruffles, and bows for kids ages 6 months to 12 years.

Love + Grow sells an array of kid’s swimwear, matching sets, dresses, sweatshirts, tops, t-shirts, blankets, footwear, and accessories.

Love + Grow’s popularity quickly grew from designing a few pieces each month to dropping a collection of pieces every week during their Thursday night launch. Customers are directed to their website at the same time on the same day to view the weekly drop.

“After each release, we let customers know what is coming the following week,” Smith said.

“We are grateful for our loyal customers and love to see their excitement about what’s coming next.”

From starting the company in her family home to creating a distribution and fulfillment center in a co-op space to meet the market demand, Love + Grow has increased in size year after year since its inception.

After welcoming her son, Aiden, in 2018, Smith added boy’s clothing to Love + Grow’s permanent line.

The company also grew to national distribution, thus prompting Smith and her family to relocate to the Emerald Coast to find more space for their family and the business.

Smith’s husband, Nick, grew up in Freeport so the family was always familiar with the area and everything it had to offer.

In 2022, Love + Grow moved into a 1,800-square-foot warehouse, located at 457 Serenoa Road, Unit 10, that will serve as a design and fulfillment center in addition to housing the company’s first retail space where locals and tourists can come shop the latest styles in person.

“We invite everyone to come shop and see our latest styles,” Lindsey Smith said.

“We want our customers to feel the fabrics and see the vibrant patterns in person.”

Love + Grow will gift $100 gift cards every hour throughout the afternoon, while guests sip custom cocktails created by Distillery 98 and Hey Mama Wines.

Swell Pops will be serving sweet treats while Mingle’s whimsical balloon décor adorns the store’s entrance. After the launch, the retail store will be open Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

“Our tagline ‘Designed with Love, Made for Memories’ was created as our company’s mission with the hope our designs will be worn year after year to make special memories throughout your children’s lives,” Lindsey Smith said.

“We strive to continue to create designs that are comfortable for the kids, look fabulous, and build a supportive community of moms.”
