NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 969, 31 more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 90.

Statewide, the number of cases is 223,783 an increase of 9,989 since yesterday morning.

The number of cumulative resident hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 68, one more since yesterday. Currently, there are 26 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa hospitals, 13 are in ICU.

The number of deaths in Okaloosa County is nine, one more since yesterday.
