NICEVILLE, FLA, JULY 30, 2020 — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 2,704, 127 more since yesterday morning. The death toll in Okaloosa now is 24, two more deaths reported since yesterday.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 2,704, 127 more since yesterday morning. The death toll in Okaloosa now is 24, two more deaths reported since yesterday.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 310.

The two additional deaths reported for this date are long-term-care residents who passed away earlier in the month. There was a delay in reporting to the state Health Department.

Statewide, 253 deaths were reported since yesterday, which surpassed Tuesday’s record number of 216 deaths. It was the third day in a row Florida set daily records for deaths.

The number of cumulative hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 123, three more since yesterday. Currently, there are 56 COVID-19 patients in hospitals in Okaloosa, 22 are in ICU beds.

• Missing, 61, eight more since yesterday
