Okaloosa County COVID-19 Daily Report
NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 2577, 95 more since yesterday morning. The death toll in Okaloosa now is 22, two more deaths reported since yesterday and 16 deaths reported during July.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 298.
Statewide, the number of cases is 451,423, an increase of 9,446 since yesterday morning. Florida reported 217 new deaths since yesterday, a new one-day record.
The number of cumulative hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 120, six more since yesterday. Currently, 59 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in Okaloosa County, 18 are in ICU beds.
