Volunteers are needed at the center in Niceville, or they can help in other ways, such as at community events.

According to Ana Michalznik, ECCA Volunteer and Event Coordinator, the event will not only provide a guided tour of the center but also offer a unique opportunity to learn about the impactful work being done in the community. You’ll also get to know more from ECCA’s therapists, advocates, and prevention team.

“There are a variety of volunteer opportunities,” said Ms Michalznik.

“It promises to be an enlightening evening, complete with light refreshments. We believe when we all work together, anything is possible to help us restore childhood joy and hope for their futures.”

ECCAC’s mission is to heal and prevent the trauma of childhood abuse and neglect by providing advocacy, child-friendly therapies, and a safe environment for kids to feel seen, heard and understood.

In 2023 alone, ECCAC assisted 1,585 children, and 17,480 students received Safety Matters prevention education in area schools. Though ECCAC doesn’t house children, it provides services to children and their families at no cost in its Okaloosa and Walton County centers.

Please call or email ECCAC Client Care Manager Hailey White to let her know you will attend: 334-343-4541 or Hailey@eccac.org.
