“Historic Technology” Home School Friday at Museum

Students will learn how technology has evolved through the years, what a simple machine is, and how machines are used to push and pull making work and other tasks easier for humans.  To reinforce the lesson, students will make and demonstrate catapults.

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida will hold its quarterly field trip tour for Home School students and their families, “Historic Technology,” Friday, February 16, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Students will learn how technology has evolved through the years, what a simple machine is, and how machines are used to push and pull making work and other tasks easier for humans.  To reinforce the lesson, students will make and demonstrate catapults.

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida provides home school tours that meet the Florida standards for education grades K-6.  “Historic Technology” is a fun and engaging experience children will remember for a life-time.  Call to register 850-678-2615

(1) parent/teacher per family FREE;  $3 each additional adult
