Early Native Americans in the region wove abundant longleaf pine needles into beautiful and useful baskets. Joe Stoy will teach the age-old skill of pine needle basketry using the original Seminole techniques in a 2-part class, Tuesdays, August 23 & 30, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.
