Popular historian Hank Klein presents The Early Days of West Florida during History Sandwiched-In, a free lunch-time lecture, Friday, January 11, 2019, 12:00 p.m. at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.
Klein will talk about the early days of West Florida when it was owned by the Spanish and British before being acquired by the United States in 1821. Come find learn the history behind the East and West Florida British colonies and the multiple times that Alabama tried to annex the Florida Panhandle to expand Lower Alabama.
