The City of Valparaiso invites families to spend Fourth of July at Lincoln Park in Valparaiso, where the youngsters can enjoy a waterslide, bounce house and miniature train rides. The activities are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to a city spokesperson, the activities this year will not include old-fashioned games as in recent years.
Lincoln Park is a wonderful spot for viewing the Fourth of July fireworks show over Boggy Bayou. The show begins at dusk.
Lincoln Park is located on Bayshore Drive in Valparaiso.
