Food Truck Frenzy 2022 is the week of May 2-6 at the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections.
CRESTVIEW, Fla. – More than a dozen local food trucks are expected to take part in the 2022 Food Truck Frenzy at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview during the week of May 2-6.
The 2nd annual event is being held in recognition of National Correctional Officers Week and National Nurses Appreciation Week, May 2-6.
The food trucks will be on-site to show their support for the bravery of Okaloosa’s correctional officers, according to an announcement by the Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners.
The community is invited to attend and to learn how they can support the often-overlooked local staff at the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections.
Contact Nikki Hatten at 850-368-6087 or nhatten@myokaloosa.com if you would like to participate by covering the cost of a meal or registering a food truck to take part.
The Okaloosa County Jail is at 1200 E James Lee Blvd. in Crestview.
