Florida Highway Patrol
CRESTVIEW — The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a car that allegedly struck a 14-year-old boy in Crestview and then fled the scene.
According to the FHP, the boy was walking to his bus stop this morning around 7:40 a.m. when he was reportedly struck from behind near the intersection of Lee Avenue and Crossland Street.
The boy was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
The vehicle may be an older model Kia, perhaps brown in color, according to the FHP. The agency reported that the driver is believed to be a white woman.
