Fallen Heroes Shooting Competition is April 9 in Baker

BAKER, Fla. — The 4th Annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Shooting Competition benefiting the Green Beret Foundation is Saturday, April 9, 8 a.m.,  at ALTUS Shooting Solutions in Baker. The community is invited to attend and participate.

The Annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Shooting Competition remembers, honors, and memorializes fallen Special Forces soldiers through competitive shooting, according to the Green Beret Foundation website.

During the competition, participants will learn the stories and remember our nation’s fallen Green Berets at each lane.

Funds raised from the event benefit the Green Beret Foundation and COPS – Concerns of Police Survivors.

The Green Beret Foundation provides Special Forces Soldiers and their families with emergency, immediate, and ongoing support.

Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS)’s mission is to rebuild shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths, through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.

An individual ticket that includes a boxed lunch and event T-shirt is $75, according to the event’s website. Online registration is available here.
