F-22 Raptor (Eglin Air Force Base)
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — A 325th Fighter Wing F-22 Raptor experienced a mishap on landing here at approximately 10:25 a.m., March 22.
Emergency crews responded immediately and are on the scene.
A news release from Eglin yesterday said the pilot was transported to flight medicine for an evaluation. On Tuesday evening, Eglin reported that the pilot involved in the mishap was released from the hospital and is in good condition.
No other details are available now.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the mishap is underway.
