Eglin’s Annual Archaeology Day to be held May 21 in Niceville

Come celebrate Florida Archaeology Month at the 5th Annual Eglin Archaeology Day. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday, May 21, 8 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Jackson Guard Complex in Niceville.

The Cultural Resources Office of the Eglin Air Force Base Environmental Branch will showcase many activities that include kid friendly activities, meet local archaeologists, visit the native plant garden, and learn about local history and archaeology.
