EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — The 96th Medical Group laboratory now is providing services for all hospital patients except those who currently receive treatment at an off-base network provider, according to the base.
This policy adjustment from Active Duty Only is due to an improvement in the blood collection tube supply shortage.
Patients who receive off-base care must use off-base labs such as Quest or LabCorp for collection and testing. The change will begin April 11.
Lab services do not require an appointment. Hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For more information or to make an appointment, call (850) 883-8600.
