FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Gail Evans, of Fort Walton Beach, a Mastercard specialist with Eglin Federal Credit Union (EFCU), has been recognized by EFCU with an achievement award for 45 years of service.
“We would like to thank Gail for her 45 years of service to Eglin Federal Credit Union,” said EFCU President/CEO Jerry Williams.
“She plans to retire from EFCU this year, and we recognize and appreciate her loyalty and dedication to the credit union and, in turn, our members.”
Gail started her career at EFCU in 1978 as a loan typist. She was promoted to senior loan typist and then to loan counselor before moving to the Mastercard department in 1991. Gail was promoted to loan administrative supervisor in 1993 and then returned to the Mastercard department as Mastercard supervisor in 2006.
“Gail has been in the Mastercard department for over 15 years, and we rely on her knowledge and expertise,” said Dawn Oravetz, EFCU SVP/Chief Payments Officer.
“She will be greatly missed when she retires this year.”
“I have enjoyed my 45 years at EFCU more than I could have ever imagined,” said Evans.
“The time has passed so quickly, and I have made many friends here. I will truly miss being part of the EFCU team.”
