Edge Elementary School in Niceville, along with many other elementary schools in Okaloosa County, recently celebrated “Red Ribbon Week” to raise awareness of the importance of being drug free.
Edge kicked off the week on Monday with a Wear Red Day; a Sock It To Drugs day on Tuesday; a Wacky Socks and “Hair’s to Being Drug Free” with wacky hair day on Wednesday; a Red-White and Blue to “Take a stand for a drug free land” on Thursday; and they “Team Up to Be Drug Free” wearing their favorite team jerseys on Friday.
