FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Registration opens at noon on Tuesday, March 23 for COVID-19 vaccinations on March 29, March 31, and April 2 in Okaloosa County.
Those eligible for the vaccine are:
The vaccination provided on March 29 and March 31 will be the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. A second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is required 21 days after the first dose.
The vaccination provided on April 2 will be the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine requires one dose.
For appointments not filled through the pre-registration system, registration will open at noon central time on Tuesday, March 23 both online and for scheduling over the phone. Appointments cannot be made through email or by walk-in at the health department.
Appointments must be made in advance. To make an appointment visit myokaloosa.com/bcc/covid-19/vaccine to register online via Eventbrite or by calling 850-344-0566.
