Distinguished Young Women (DWY) of Florida celebrated the grand opening of the relocation of its State DWY Program to the Fort Walton Beach area with a Niceville Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
“We are honored and proud that the State DYW program has been relocated to our area. We hope for everyone’s enthusiastic support!” said Carole Byrd, Director, DYW of Florida.
Distinguished Young Women is a unique program that combines the opportunity to win college scholarships while learning life skills training as young women complete high school. The DYW program positively impacts the lives of young women with programs designed to reward their hard work and dedication as they develop their talent and focuses on academic success. Participants become part of a lifelong family that offers mentorship over the years.
