WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — A 31-year-old DeFuniak Springs man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly bringing methamphetamine to a state probation check-in on Monday, August 19.
Brandon Lee Harris reportedly attempted to conceal methamphetamine in a small plastic baggy, along with two syringes and a nasal spray bottle containing an unknown substance, during his meeting with a probation officer at the State Probation Office on Highway 90 in DeFuniak Springs, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Mr Harris reportedly admitted to knowing he had the narcotics and paraphernalia before arriving at the office. The contents of the nasal spray bottle have been sent off for testing.
Harris was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail, where he was charged with felony violation of probation, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was denied bond.
