Crestview woman charged with possession of methamphetamine, intent to distribute

DESTIN, Fla. – A Crestview woman is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute after a traffic stop in Destin yesterday, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO).

Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit reportedly saw a car run a stop sign on Melvin Street near Mountain Drive and pulled over the driver.

The OCSO says Tiffany Williams, 31, a passenger in the vehicle, consented to a search of her belongings and deputies found used needles, a digital scale with residue and a plastic container with suspected meth, as well as numerous jeweler’s baggies and more.

Williams is also charged with possession of a controlled substance (hydromorphone) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the OCSO.
