NICEVILLE, FLA — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 126, seven more since Friday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville remains at 18. The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa increased from 21 to 23 since Friday morning.

NICEVILLE, FLA — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 126, seven more since Friday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville remains at 18.

The number of confirmed cases involving residents or staff at long-care nursing facilities remains at 25, no increase in the past 24 hours.

The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa increased from 21 to 23 since Friday morning. In Okaloosa, 18.25% of people with confirmed COVID-19 cases have required hospitalization, slightly more than the state average of 14.5%.

To date, 1,558 tests have been performed in Okaloosa County. This represents .7% of Okaloosa County’s total population.
