NICEVILLE, Fla.—The City of Niceville is hosting a free shredding event on Tuesday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., where Niceville residents can securely destroy their unwanted personal documents.
A Shred-it truck will be stationed in the softball complex parking lot on Campbell Drive, accessible via Palm Boulevard.
Participants can bring documents with rubber bands, paper clips, and staples still attached. Items brought in bags must be emptied into the shred bin.
Please avoid placing syringes, food, glass, cans, cardboard tubes, ink cartridges, toners, electrical items, hanging folders, hard drives, nuts, bolts, and various office supplies in the shredder.
Batteries of any type, large metal objects, and electronic devices are not allowed as they pose a fire risk.
