Brent Smith has been reelected Mayor in the City of Valparaiso.
VALPARAISO, Fla. – Voters in Valparaiso yesterday reelected Brent Smith Mayor of Valparaiso, according to results posted by the Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections.
Smith won 54.82 percent of the votes cast, defeating challenger Patrick William Palmer 375 votes to 309 votes.
In all, 684 voters cast ballots in the nonpartisan municipal election.
Smith was first elected mayor in 2018.
