Niceville soon will have an indoor bounce house and arcade facility where youngsters can play and have a fun, indoor venue for birthday parties and other gatherings.
Jump‘in Jacks Indoor Bounce House and Birthday Venue/Arcade is coming to Niceville’s Palm Plaza between Paint-N-Color and the soon-to-open Workout Anytime gym, on the east end of the shopping center. The 5,000-square-foot facility is currently under construction and is expected to open sometime in August or September.
“We’ll have bounce houses like those at outdoor events, but we’ll have them inside, so you don’t have to be in the heat or cold,” said Carrie Ann Wood, owner, and operator of new bounce arcade.
Wood and her husband, Josh Wood, grew up in Niceville and are raising four children here, ages 5 to 15.
“Once I saw what a bounce facility like this could offer our town, I was all in,” said Wood. “It is so needed here.”
Children can come for a day of fun or hold a birthday party or other event at Jump‘in Jacks Indoor Bounce House and Birthday Venue/Arcade, said Wood.
“There’s nothing to set up or rent; just come in and play.”
In addition to bounce units, Wood said Jump‘in Jacks would feature an obstacle course, soft play area for toddlers, birthday party area, and arcade games such as basketball, foosball, and air hockey.
Jump’in Jacks in Niceville is meant for children ages 12 and under, though Wood said older children attending a sibling’s birthday party could enjoy the arcade and perhaps the obstacle course.
