Lane closure. (Florida Department of Transportation)
PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Drivers will encounter intermittent lane closures on Beach Drive from Frankford Avenue to Balboa Avenue from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 6, according to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
The lane restrictions are needed for curb removal and manhole adjustments, the FDOT said.
Flaggers and traffic control devices will assist in directing motorists through the work area.
All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
