April 20 COVID-19 cases daily update includes third death in Okaloosa

The Florida Department of Health reports this morning that Okaloosa County has recorded its third COVID-19 death. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County remained steady at 131 over the past 24 hours. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville remains at 18. The individual who died, which was confirmed Sunday, was an 88-year-old woman.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning that Okaloosa County has recorded its third COVID-19 death. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County remained steady at 131 over the past 24 hours. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville remains at 18.

The individual who died, which was confirmed Sunday, was an 88-year-old woman.

The number of confirmed cases involving residents or staff at long-care nursing facilities is 26, no change over the past 24 hours.

The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 23, one less than Sunday morning.

To date, 1,663 tests have been performed in Okaloosa County.
