It’s that “spook-tacular” time of year and Destin Common is ready with the highly anticipated Halloween Haunt!
This year’s Halloween celebration, sponsored by BrightView, will take place at Destin Commons on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The always free event is an annual area tradition for families who look forward to creepy crafts, fantasy face painting, a spellbinding photo booth, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest.
Get creative and bring the children (ages 2 to 12) and dogs, dressed in their bewitching best for the costume contest. Dress up in your costume of choice, whether it is ghoulish or glam, and you might win a hauntingly awesome assortment of prizes.
After the contest, children can go trick-or-treating in a safe and friendly environment at participating stores throughout Destin Commons. Grab your broom and fly on over to Destin Commons for a Halloween bash you do not want to miss.
“Everyone loves Halloween and here at Destin Commons we love to get into the Halloween spirit with our annual Halloween Haunt,” said Brooke Zannis, Marketing Manager, Destin Commons. “This event invites our community to come together and celebrate in a fun and safe environment. We look forward to seeing everyone dressed up and enjoying all the festivities.”
Award-winning Destin Commons, featuring over 90 stores and restaurants, is anchored by Bass Pro Shops; Belk; H&M; Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl & Grill; the largest Lush in Florida; and AMC Destin, a 14-screen movie theatre. The outdoor lifestyle center also offers 70,000 square feet of Class A office space, free Wi-Fi access, interactive pop fountain, and the soon to be revealed Lucky Climber children’s play area. Destin Commons is located at the corner of US Highway 98 and the Mid Bay Bridge Road.
