Yule of Yesteryear at the Museum
VALPARAISO, Fla — The 2019 Yule of Yesteryear, a traditional holiday festival, is Saturday, December 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida and Perrine Park in Valparaiso. Admission is free.
Enjoy musical performances by local choirs and musicians, dancers, and craft and food vendors. Craft demonstrations will include blacksmithing, and basket-, seat- and loom weaving.
Come hungry and ready to support your community by shopping local for your last-minute Christmas gifts. The 2019 Yule of Yesteryear festival will feature food and crafts from local restaurants and artisans.
The Museum will be open with free admission all day long, where you will discover the rich history of Northwest Florida. Enjoy exhibits that feature the area’s first inhabitants and early industries such as fishing, boat building, turpentine production, and pioneer living.
Kids are invited to play and learn in the Discovery Room.
Festival activities include ornament-making for children and a holiday bake sale.
