NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health on Monday reported seven newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County. There are two new cases in Niceville and Valparaiso.
The FDOH reports 23 vaccinations were administered in Okaloosa County the previous day. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in Okaloosa is 45,424. The number of people who have completed the vaccination series in Okaloosa is 30,736, according to FDOH data.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa is 19,816.
The FDOH reports the total number of people killed by COVID-19 in Okaloosa is 353, no change since the previous report.
Statewide, 3,480 new cases were reported by the FDOH. The current cumulative total is 2,085,306. The total number of Florida residents who have died from COVID-19 in the state is 33,710.
The cumulative number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 711, one more since the previous day. Currently, there are 11 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa County hospitals.
