Hello, Sunshine is the new gift and home accessory store now open in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin®. This light and airy new concept offers unique, modern and vintage-style gifts, accessories, home accents and clothing for the beach lifestyle.
“We wanted to create a store that would appeal to both tourists and locals; a place where people could go and find a unique gift for any person and occasion, and feel that they got a great value for their money. We feel that is what we created and judging by initial customers’ comments, we think they agree,” said co-owner Kirsten Nykamp, who, along with husband Paul owns the store and also Kilwin’s Chocolates, Fudge and Ice Cream, both located in Grand Boulevard.
Hello, Sunshine is named for the Nykamps young daughter, Elle, who also serves as the store’s muse and sometime-model and whose image can be seen throughout the new store.
The new store also carries specialty gifts, such as painted bowls, vintage beach signs, decorative serving trays, even beach bags, which can be personalized for wedding parties, reunions and small and large groups.
Hello, Sunshine is located next door to Mitchell’s Fish Market in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center. Store hours are Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sundays, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information call (850) 269-9860 or visit their web site at shophellosunshine.com.
