Twin Cities Hospital recently donated $5,000 to Sharing & Caring of Niceville to help replenish the food bank and assist with other needs of the local organization. 2010 Dr. Frist Humanitarian Awards recipients Wayne Justice, MD and Malinda Budden, RN joined Twin Cities Hospital’s Chairman of the Board, Louis Vagias, MD, to present the check to Delle Diamon, President of Sharing & Caring of Niceville and Ronda Davenport, Vice President of Campaign/Marketing, with United Way of Okaloosa & Walton Counties.
“We are honored to make this donation to Sharing & Caring of Niceville. We know giving was difficult for many companies and individuals this year, which makes this contribution by Twin Cities Hospital even more meaningful for those in our community who are truly in need of Sharing & Caring of Niceville’s services,” said David Whalen, Twin Cities Hospital Chief Executive Officer.
Sharing & Caring of Niceville is a designated agency of United Way of Okaloosa & Walton Counties. Because everything is handled at our local level, Sharing & Caring of Niceville will receive this money before the holiday and can help to make happy memories for families who may otherwise not get them. “While many families and individuals are experiencing hard times, it is organizations like Sharing & Caring of Niceville and United Way that bring hope back to those in need” continued Whalen.
