The Valparaiso Community Library announces the first Vale of Paradise Art Show on April 27, 28 and 29. This show will feature the artwork of the students attending Valparaiso Elementary, Lewis Middle School and the private and home schooled students (grades Pre-K–8) living in Valparaiso. On April 26, the library is hosting a special open house 2-6 p.m. for the public.

Also scheduled during the open house will be local author Marie Harrison who will sign her latest gardening book, titled “Flowering Shrubs and Small Trees for the South.” Call the library at 729-5406.
