The Dental Assisting program at Northwest Florida State College will host information sessions on Tuesday, November 8 and December 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Dental Assisting Lab – Building E – Room 308 on the Niceville Campus for prospective new students.
Dental Assisting is a limited access, one-year certificate program that prepares individuals for state certification and employment in various areas of dentistry. The program accepts applications year round and individuals may generally begin Dental Assisting studies any semester. The information sessions are geared toward those who would like to begin part time enrollment in January or May followed by full-time enrollment in the Dental Assisting program in Fall 2012.
The application process for Dental Assisting includes several required steps, including mandatory attendance at an information session within the expected year of enrollment.
