Local Domestic Violence Center and Youth After School Program Collaborate to Present Valentines Dinner


Fort Walton Beach, Florida – Shelter House, local domestic violence center, and Youth Village, Inc., an after school program and summer camp, are teaming up to present a Valentines Dinner, Friday, February 12 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

The public is invited to enjoy a spaghetti dinner and dessert to support Shelter House and the Youth Village. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased by calling Shelter House at 243-1201.The event will be held at the Youth Village at 312 Pelham Road in Fort Walton Beach.

The Youth Village’s mission is to lend our individual and organized aid to support, teach and uplift the youth of our community in an educational, spiritual and moral manner by providing them with a place to meet, fellowship and learn in a safe, adult-supervised environment.

Shelter House is the state-certified domestic violence shelter serving victims of domestic violence in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Services provided include 24-hour hotline, crisis counseling, advocacy, outreach, prevention and confidential shelter.
